Un tema caro a Genagricola, che - fin dalla bonifica di Ca’ Corniani, nel 1851 - ha saputo tenere conto degli aspetti ambientali, sociali ed economici delle proprie azioni.
Un tema che, a 170 anni da quella prima grande operazione, continua a determinare le nostre scelte, prendendo forme e sviluppandosi in contenuti necessariamente diversi, ma forti del medesimo slancio di allora.

Leone Alato is engaged in an important decarbonisation path that aims to significantly reduce its emissions and reach Net Zero by 2040, in line with the targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
This commitment is accompanied by the safeguarding of biodiversity, with concrete actions to protect and enhance the territories, fostering the balance of ecosystems and strengthening the role of Genagricola as an active custodian of the vitality and fertility of the soil for future generations.

ISO 14001
The international reference standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Voluntary in nature, it helps organisations minimise their ecological impact, comply with regulations and continuously improve their performance.
SQNPI
The National Integrated Production Quality System (SQNPI) certifies the application of a set of technical standards specific to each crop and binding phytosanitary indications (production protocols), including agronomic and phytosanitary practices, limitations in the choice of plant protection products and in the number of treatments.
GLOBAL GAP
The GLOBALGAP certification is required by many European large-scale retail companies to offer consumers and the market quality products, in particular fruit and vegetables, that are safe and with documented traceability.
