An Agricultural Story
We have cultivated the land for 680 seasons, always with the same passion
1851 Passione Agricola is the brand through which the agricultural products of Genagricola 1851 come to life, the highest expression of raw materials
grown with sustainable techniques that respect biodiversity, with full control of the production chain: from the field to the table.
Our products
The raw materials of our products are born in the farms of Genagricola 1851 across Italy: from Veneto to Calabria, through Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Lazio. They are historic places, custodians of a unique agricultural heritage, that enhance the richness and biodiversity of the Italian territory through respectful cultivation, blending the ancient farming tradition with the most modern techniques of sustainable agriculture.
The beer
“Birra 1851 Passione Agricola” takes its name from a special place, Ca’ Corniani, a historic Genagricola 1851 estate since 1851. It is here that our agricultural experience spanning 170 years begins, leading us to create a line of beers with a balanced and distinctive taste, using malts, grains and hops from our own agricultural supply chain.
We are experimenting with the cultivation of several types of hops across three farms in Veneto, Lazio and Emilia-Romagna. This is a project developed in collaboration with Luppolo Made in Italy.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the cornerstones of the Mediterranean diet, an excellent product with precious organoleptic and nutritional qualities.
The olive groves of 1851 Passione Agricola are located in Emilia-Romagna, at Gregorina, where Correggiolo, Leccino and Nostrana di Brisighella grow; in Lazio, at the Presciano and Solonio estate, we cultivate a particular cultivar instead: the Lecciana, considered a premium variety for its high polyphenol content.

Cultivating rice means listening to the land and respecting its rhythms: a promise of quality we uphold every day, uniting two territories under a single production philosophy.
The Cascinotto farm is located in Lombardy, in the heart of the Pavese area, a land historically devoted to rice growing. Here we cultivate the Vialone Nano variety, working in harmony with the environment and protecting local biodiversity.
In Calabria, on the Sibari Plain just steps from the Ionian Sea, lies the Casoni estate. The unique microclimate of this area proves particularly suited to rice cultivation, which we produce here in several varieties such as Carnaroli.
The honey
Bees are a fundamental bioindicator of the health of the environment. On our farms we monitor the health of ecosystems through indicators such as nectar potential and the presence of pollinating insects. The hives where our bees live are constantly monitored by a series of sensors that record the movements of the swarm coming in and out, an example of how technology can be a valuable ally in safeguarding biodiversity.
Our honey therefore carries the flavour of the flowers of our fields and is produced responsibly, respecting the land and the bees.
